Ukraine destroys Russian radar systems, helicopter in occupied Crimea Video
Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence (HUR) carried out a strike operation in Russia-occupied Crimea, destroying several radar systems and a ship-based helicopter, the agency said.
According to HUR, special forces from its Prymary unit conducted the attack, dealing what the agency described as a significant blow to Russian military capabilities on the peninsula, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media.
HUR noted that the attack resulted in the destruction of a Ka-27 multi-purpose helicopter, a Lira-A10 airfield radar complex, a 55Zh6U Nebo-U radar, a Nebo-SV radar housed within a dome structure, and a P-18 Terek radar.
he intelligence service also said the operation featured precise strikes on high-value targets and highlighted what it described as a successful evasion of a missile launched from a Russian Pantsir-S1 air-defence system, footage of which was released by the agency.
