Ukraine destroys three Russian warships, fighter jet in major strike PHOTO
Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has carried out a special operation targeting Russian military assets in Crimea, according to Ukrainian media outlet UNIAN.
The operation, conducted overnight by SBU Alpha units, targeted the Russian Black Sea Fleet naval base in Sevastopol and the Belbek airfield in occupied Crimea. As a result of drone strikes, Ukrainian forces claim to have hit three Russian naval vessels: the large landing ships Yamal and Filchenkov, as well as the reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs.
In addition, a MiG-31 fighter jet stationed at the Belbek airfield was struck.
Other reported targets included the Black Sea Fleet training center “Lukomka,” a radio-technical intelligence headquarters, the MR-10M1 “Mys-M1” radar system, and the technical maintenance facility at Belbek airfield.
