Ukraine hits oil terminals in Russia in overnight strikes
On the night of January 28, Ukrainian defence forces carried out strikes in both temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine and on Russian territory, targeting oil-related infrastructure, General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
According to the statement, the strikes on Russian territory affected the Khokholskaya oil depot in the Voronezh region, where oil products caught fire, producing thick smoke, Caliber.Az reports.
A separate strike reportedly hit the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in the Krasnodar region, causing a fire over an area of approximately 6,200 square metres and damage to three storage tanks, each with a capacity of 10,000 cubic metres.
No additional details on casualties or broader impacts were immediately available.
