Ukraine reports damage to foreign-flagged ship in Odesa port attack

The Russian Armed Forces have hit the port of Odesa in southern Ukraine, damaging a civilian vessel.

The State Maritime Ports Administration of Ukraine said in a Telegram statement that the attack targeted the Greater Odesa port area in the morning, Caliber.Az reports.

According to officials, the vessel was registered under the Cook Islands flag.

“The crew was not injured. Another strike was directed at civilian shipping. The port continues to operate, taking into account security risks, and specialised services are dealing with the aftermath,” the statement noted.
