Ukraine reports interception of dozens of drones in nighttime attacks
Ukrainian air defence forces repelled an attack involving 109 drones, including Shahed and Gerber models, as well as three ballistic missiles o the night of October 3 to October 4.
The attack originated from multiple directions, including Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo, with missile launches reportedly from the Rostov and Voronezh regions of Russia, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian Air Forces.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, as of 9:00 a.m. local time on October 4, 73 drones had been shot down or suppressed. Three missiles and 36 drones were reported to have struck 21 locations, while debris from intercepted drones was recorded at four additional sites.
The Ukrainian military stated that the operation to defend airspace continues and urged residents to follow safety precautions.
