Ukraine reports overnight attack by over 100 Russian armed drones

During the night, Russia launched a large-scale drone strike against Ukraine, deploying 115 armed unmanned aerial vehicles, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.

According to a statement from the military, “Preliminary data as of 7:30 a.m. indicates that air defence systems shot down or suppressed 96 enemy drones, including Shahed, Herber, and other types, across the north, south, and east of the country. Impacts of 16 strike drones were recorded at 11 locations, and debris from downed drones fell in two additional locations.”

Local authorities and security services are assessing the damage and monitoring affected areas, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues to maintain heightened alert across the regions targeted.
