Ukraine: Russia carries out overnight attack with missiles, over 100 drones PHOTO
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched a combined missile and drone attack overnight on July 3, using two X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missiles along with 105 strike and decoy drones of various types, including “Shahed,” “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and “Parodia” systems.
In a statement, the Armed Forces of Ukraine said the aerial assault was repelled by air defence units, including anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare teams, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups, Caliber.Az reports.

According to preliminary data released by the Ukrainian Air Force as of 08:30 local time, 83 aerial targets were shot down or neutralised, including one X-59/69 missile and 82 drones. The interceptions took place across northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
The military said one missile and 21 attack drones successfully struck 16 locations. Debris from downed drones was also reported at five additional sites.
“The attack continues! There are several UAVs in Ukrainian airspace. Please observe safety precautions!” the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.
