Ukraine’s Air Force says Russia launched 165 attack drones overnight

Russia launched 165 drones at Ukraine overnight on September 28, the ASTRA Telegram channel reports, citing the Ukrainian Air Force.

“Starting from 18:00 on September 27, the enemy attacked with 165 Shahed-type attack UAVs (79 of them were jet-powered), Gerbera drones, Parodiya-type decoy drones... According to preliminary data, as of 07:00, air defences had shot down/suppressed 112 hostile UAVs. Hits by the enemy’s air attack weapons were recorded at 14 locations, while downed UAVs (debris) fell at seven locations,” the Ukrainian Air Force said.

The attack is still ongoing.
