Ukraine says it intercepted missiles, drones in overnight attack

Ukraine’s Air Force said its forces intercepted two Iskander ballistic missiles during an overnight Russian attack, without specifying the total number of such missiles launched.

The Air Force said it was unable to intercept any of the Onyx anti-ship missiles used in the attack, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media.

According to the Ukrainian military, air defences also shot down 31 of 32 cruise missiles and 142 of 166 drones.

Strikes were recorded at 29 locations, while falling debris was reported at nine sites, the Air Force said.
