Russia launched a large-scale overnight attack on Ukraine using dozens of missiles and hundreds of drones, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian military officials said a total of 68 missiles were fired during the strike, 58 of which were intercepted by air defences.
The missiles included two 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missiles, one of which was shot down, as well as 13 Iskander-M / S-400 missile system missiles, seven of which were intercepted.

Ukraine’s air defences also engaged 49 cruise missiles of various types, all of which were shot down, along with four Kh-59 and Kh-69 air-launched missiles, one of which was intercepted.
Military officials said information about four additional missiles was still being clarified.
Alongside the missile barrage, Russia launched 430 strike drones of different types, of which 402 were either shot down or suppressed by electronic warfare systems, according to Ukrainian authorities.
Despite the interceptions, six missiles and 28 attack drones struck targets at 11 locations, the Ukrainian military said.
