Ukraine says Russia launched over 6,000 kamikaze drones in 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, there were 161 combat engagements recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
According to the General Staff, the highest number of enemy attacks was observed in the Pokrovske direction, although activity continues across other sections of the front, RBC-Ukraine reports via the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces.
Russian forces carried out two missile and 60 airstrikes, launched 57 rockets, and dropped 143 guided bombs. In total, 4,291 shellings were recorded, including 117 from multiple-launch rocket systems, along with the use of 6,360 kamikaze drones.
Airstrikes targeted areas around the settlements of Malomykhailivka, Danylivka, Zheleznodorozhne, Huliaipole, Veselyanka (Zaporizhzhia region), and Olhivka (Kherson region).
In response, the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ aviation struck four areas of enemy personnel, weapons, and equipment concentration.
