Ukraine strengthens security of military training centers
Ukraine is working to bolster the security of its military training centers in response to ongoing drone and missile threats, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi said.
"I held the regular monthly meeting on the training of our soldiers, as well as on certain aspects of the functioning of the training centers," Syrskyi said, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian media.
Over the past year, significant organisational work has been carried out to ensure recruits have sufficient time to acquire essential skills. Basic combined arms training now lasts 51 days and includes an anti-drone warfare course, alongside other elements designed to meet the demands of modern technological warfare.
"At the same time, considering the drone and missile threat, work is underway to strengthen the security of the training centers. They are increasingly being moved deeper into the country, as far away from the front line as possible. In this regard, there is a task to ensure high training standards even at remote locations," he added.
The commander-in-chief noted that discussions were held on quality control and the optimisation of the organisational structure of training centers.
"The problematic issues have been addressed, and ways for their prompt resolution have been determined. I set specific tasks, including preparations for the training centers to function during the winter period. It is important to realise the potential of the training centers fully," Syrskyi said.
