Ukraine targets FSB unit base in wave of strikes on Russian military assets

Ukraine's Defence Forces carried out overnight strikes on several key Russian military targets in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories and inside Russia on the night of August 4.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation struck a temporary deployment site of an FSB unit in the village of Shchaslyvtseve in the Kherson region. Information on Russian casualties is still being clarified.

Ukrainian forces also hit a road bridge over the Seym River near the village of Zvannoye in Russia's Kursk region, as well as a railway bridge over the Molochna River near Svitlodolynske in the Zaporizhzhia region. The targeted infrastructure was used by Russian troops for military logistics and the movement of personnel and equipment.

In temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian forces struck a communications and support facility serving Geran/Gerbera attack drone relay systems in Olenivka, as well as a tower equipped with electronic warfare systems in Artemivka.

In addition, Ukrainian forces hit a Russian command post and communications hub in Bakhmut.
