Ukraine updates Russian army losses
Russian troops have lost 58,150 soldiers since Moscow launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated 400 more Russian servicemen over the past day, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"The Russian troops suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Kramatorsk and Donetsk direction," the statement reads.
"The total combat losses of Russia as of September 28 are as follows based on the Ukrainian report:
personnel - about 58,150 (+400) people were eliminated;
tanks – 2,312 (+6);
armoured combat vehicles – 4,889 (+8);
artillery systems – 1,381 (+3);
MLRS – 331 (+0);
air defence equipment – 175 (+0);
aircraft – 262 (+1);
helicopters – 224 (+0);
operational-tactical level drones – 989 (+12);
cruise missiles – 242 (+1);
ships / boats - 15 (+0);
motor vehicles and tankers – 3,742 (+12);
special equipment – 131 (+0)," the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.
