Ukrainian FM: Russia deliberately diverts drones toward NATO states
Russian electronic warfare systems are intentionally redirecting Ukrainian drones toward the territory of NATO member states, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has stated, following recent drone incidents in Latvia.
In a post on X, Sybiha said he discussed the matter with his Latvian counterpart, Baiba Braže, and noted that investigations have shown that this was the result of Russian electronic warfare, which deliberately diverts Ukrainian drones away from their targets inside Russia, Caliber.Az reports.
I just had another exchange with @Braze_Baiba about the recent drone incidents in Latvia.

The investigations proved that this was the result of Russian electronic warfare deliberately diverting Ukrainian drones from their targets in Russia.
I reaffirmed Ukraine’s willingness…
“I reaffirmed Ukraine’s willingness to work together with Baltic nations and Finland to prevent such incidents, including with the direct involvement of our specialists,” he noted.
According to him, Ukraine’s goal is to ensure the highest possible level of security for Latvia, the other Baltic states, and Finland.
“First, by effectively countering Russian agression and degrading Russia’s war machine. Second, by helping to strengthen the protection of our friends’ air space,” Sybiha added.
