Ukrainian forces hit major oil and airfield targets in Russia and Crimea photo / video
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed that Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out a series of coordinated overnight strikes on November 28 targeting major military and infrastructure facilities inside Russia and in temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the General Staff’s statement on Telegram, one of the primary targets was the Saratov Oil Refinery — one of the largest in the region. The facility produces more than 20 types of petroleum products and plays a significant role in supplying fuel to the Russian military. Following multiple explosions at the refinery, a fire broke out on the premises.

Ukrainian forces also struck a drone storage site at the Saki (Novofedorivka) airfield in Crimea. Preliminary assessments indicate that several components of Russia’s air-defence systems, including Pantsir-S1 and Tor-M2 complexes, were damaged. A hangar containing Orion and Forpost UAVs was reportedly destroyed, along with the airfield’s command-and-control post and a military transport vehicle.
Additionally, Ukraine confirmed strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel and fuel depots located in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Details about the extent of the damage in those areas are still being clarified.
Footage and photographs documenting the aftermath were published by the Telegram channel ASTRA.
