Ukrainian forces kill 590 Russian soldiers over past 24 hours

Ukraine's Defence Forces have persisted in crushing the Russian occupying forces, killing 590 Russian soldiers and destroying 16 tanks, 30 artillery systems and 14 armoured combat vehicles belonging to the Russians over the past 24 hours, Ukrainska Pravda reports, citing the Ukrainian General Staff.

The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 13 September 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 270,350 (+590) military personnel
• 4,584 (+16) tanks
• 8,792 (+14) armoured combat vehicles
• 5,902 (+30) artillery systems
• 766 (+2) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 517 (+2) air defence systems
• 315 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
• 316 (+0) helicopters
• 4,650 (+5) tactical UAVs
• 1,455 (+0) cruise missiles
