Ukrainian forces strike on Russian military targets, including naval, UAV sites
Ukrainian troops have carried out targeted strikes on Russian military facilities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated.
In a post on Telegram, it said in particular, a Project 21980 Grachonok anti-sabotage boat was hit in the area of Kaspiysk (Dagestan), used for the protection of naval base sites and counter-diversion operations, Caliber.Az reports.
“UAV control points were also struck in the areas of Razdolnoye and Shevchenko (Donetsk region), Dvorichna (Kharkiv region), Kamianske (Zaporizhzhia region) and Karnatne (Bryansk region of the Russian Federation),” it noted.
The Ukrainian military also reported strikes on concentrations of Russian manpower in Piddubne (Donetsk region) and Olhivka (Kherson region).
Earlier, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system, a communications node in Crimea, and a Russian fuel train in the Donetsk region.
“On May 16, 2026, a strike on the Yeysk airfield in Russia’s Krasnodar region destroyed a Ka-27 helicopter, a Be-200 maritime patrol aircraft, and damaged an airspace monitoring station in Lesnoye (Bryansk region of the Russian Federation),” the General Staff added.
