Ukrainian forces strike Russian radar, drone command sites
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced a successful operation targeting Russian military assets in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.
According to the Ukrainian command, a 1L119 Nebo-SVU radar station was damaged near Lymarevka, with an estimated value of around $100 million, Caliber.Az reports.
“Thanks to the coordinated actions of Ukraine's defence forces, as part of reducing the enemy's air defence capabilities, a 1L119 Nebo-SVU radar station has been hit near the occupied [village of] Lymarivka in Luhansk region. The estimated cost of such a system is about $100 million,” the General Staff said.
In addition, Ukrainian forces reported strikes on an ammunition depot and several drone control points in the occupied territories.
