Ukrainian forces train Australian, Swedish troops in drone operations Photo
Ukrainian military personnel are conducting joint training with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the Swedish Armed Forces at a training ground in the United Kingdom.
The focus of the training is the use of modern drone technologies, particularly FPV (First-Person View) drones, which have become increasingly important in contemporary combat, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As part of NATO’s multinational Operation INTERFLEX, Ukrainian forces are sharing their experience in drone operations, including strategies for both utilising drones in combat and countering drone threats.
The training is aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the ADF and the Swedish military while also providing Ukrainian forces with an opportunity to refine their own techniques based on feedback and lessons learned.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the collaboration serves to improve training programs for Ukrainian soldiers and helps in adapting to the changing dynamics of modern warfare. The knowledge gained through these exercises will also be used to further develop Ukraine's military tactics as part of Operation INTERFLEX.
