US Department of Commerce blacklists 123 foreign companies, including 64 Russian firms
The US Department of Commerce has blacklisted 123 foreign companies, with 64 Russian firms among them, including one registered in Crimea, according to a notice in the Federal Register.
The Bureau of Industry and Security, part of the US Department of Commerce, reported that 48 of these blacklisted Russian entities are allegedly end users of military products from Russia and Belarus, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
Additionally, six Russian legal entities were added to the list due to their alleged involvement in Russia's UAV production program.
Several companies were also blacklisted for allegedly supplying sensitive American-origin technologies to Russia.
Chinese companies are similarly blacklisted for their alleged participation in supplying American technologies and other sensitive products to Russia. Furthermore, 11 Iranian companies have been added to the list for allegedly facilitating the supply of American technologies to Iran, which are needed by Russia to conduct its special military operation.
