US donates over 16 tonnes of cancer drug to Ukraine
Health facilities have received oncology drugs as part of the US humanitarian aid.
“The Ukrainian Health Ministry has distributed and transported 16.5 tons of medicines, that are used in cancer treatment, to warehouses,” Ukrinform reports referring to the Ukrainian Health Ministry.
Among these medicines are Ondansetron Hydrochloride (2 ml, Fluorouracil (50 ml / 20 ml), Methotrexate (10 ml / 7.5 mg), Sucralfate (Carafate 420 ml), Esomeprazoleal Magnesium, Mesalamine, Lansoprazole, Promethazine, Palonosetron Hydrochloride (5 ml), Tretinoin, Nintedanib (OFEV).
The hospitals in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Ternopil and Cherkasy cities, Volyn district have already received the drugs. Medicines will be also supplied to other districts in the coming days.
