US military says it fended off another Houthi missile attack near Red Sea
The guided-missile destroyer USS Gravely has shot down an anti-ship cruise missile fired by Iranian-backed Houthi militants, according to US Central Command's post on X.
On Jan. 30, at approximately 11:30 p.m. (Sanaa time), Iranian-backed Houthi militants fired one anti-ship cruise missile from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen toward the Red Sea. The attack was launched towards the Read Sea at around 11:30 p.m. on January 30 from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, Caliber.Az reports citing the command's release.
"The missile was shot down by USS Gravely (DDG 107). There were no injuries or damage reported," the release said.
