US State Secretary holds talks with Ukraine's new foreign minister Reaffirms support
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with Andriy Sibiga, Ukraine's newly appointed Foreign Minister, in a telephone conversation aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
The discussion, confirmed by US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, focused on diplomatic engagements and the upcoming UN General Assembly, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
According to a statement from the State Department, Blinken reiterated US support for Ukraine's initiatives scheduled for the opening week of the UN General Assembly.
He also underscored America's commitment to continuing assistance to Ukraine across several critical areas, including military, economic, and humanitarian support, as well as efforts to aid in the rebuilding of the Ukrainian economy.
