US state secretary: "Other leaders will also join Board of Peace for Gaza"

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said many more global leaders will join the initiative to establish the Board of Peace.

Speaking at the signing ceremony in Davos, Rubio stated that many leaders had already joined and that the rest would complete internal procedures to also become part of the Board of Peace, Caliber.Az reports.

“This is going to be a successful effort,” Rubio noted, adding that many more countries will join.

He noted that some leaders are absent today as they need to coordinate participation in line with constitutional requirements.

Nevertheless, Rubio expressed confidence that the number of participants will grow, as many countries want to be part of the initiative and are awaiting its successful outcome.
