Uzbek leader departs for Moscow working visit

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has departed for a working visit to Moscow, according to the presidential press service.

During the visit, Mirziyoyev is expected to take part in ceremonial events marking the 81st anniversary of Victory in World War II.

However, earlier reports indicated that the Uzbek president will not attend the Victory Day parade scheduled to take place in Moscow on May 9.
