Uzbekistan Airways cuts Russia flights amid fuel shortages
13 June 2026 10:50
Uzbekistan Airways has reduced the frequency of several flights between Uzbekistan and Russia due to a shortage of aviation fuel and rising fuel prices, the airline said in a statement from its press office.
The carrier did not specify which routes would be affected by the reductions, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the airline, passengers whose flights are cancelled will be offered two options: rebooking on the next available flight free of charge, or a full refund of the ticket price without penalties. Refunds will be issued at the original point of purchase.
