Uzbekistan's Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, met with Kuwait's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad, on July 14 to discuss the further development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, Caliber.Az reports, citing Uzbek media.

Officials identified banking and finance, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, industry, and the services sector as key areas with strong potential for future cooperation.
The meeting also focused on collaboration with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development to support infrastructure and logistics projects.
In addition, the two sides discussed preparations for an Uzbek-Kuwaiti Business Forum and plans to reinvigorate the work of the Intergovernmental Commission. Its third meeting is scheduled to take place in Uzbekistan in the autumn of 2026.
