Venezuela looks to Azerbaijan’s e-governance model to revamp public services PHOTO
The Venezuelan government invited several Azerbaijani officials to get acquainted with the country's ASAN Service model.
A delegation made up of several members of Azerbaijan's State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations travelled to the South American country from May 11 to 13, as Caliber.Az reports citing local media.
In the course of the visit, the state delegates held meetings during the visit with heads of relevant Venezuelan institutions, as well as with Deputy Foreign Minister Andrea Corao.
A detailed presentation was given to the Venezuelan hosts on the ASAN Service model, Azerbaijan's public service delivery system that was established at the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan. It also informed them of the "one-stop shop" platform's immense success in facilitating a wide range of public services to citizens, which has led to the model being implemented in more than 30 countries, including states across the Americas.
The Venezuelan side expressed interest in implementing the ASAN Service model and a desire to expand cooperation in this area.
