Video captures explosion at Oman's Mina al Fahal oil terminal VIDEO

A video circulating on social media has captured the moment of an explosion at Oman's Mina al Fahal oil terminal, a key export facility located near the capital, Muscat.

Earlier on Friday (June 5), it was reported that, oil loading operations at the terminal had been suspended following the blast.

Later on, Petroleum Development Oman said operations at the Mina al Fahal terminal were continuing normally. The sources said the disruption involved SBM 1 and 2 loading points and was linked to a drone attack.

Mina al Fahal, Oman’s main crude export terminal, handles approximately 800,000-900,000 barrels of oil per day.
