Vucic: Serbia threatens no one, has capabilities to ensure its own defence
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, along with President of Republika Srpska (RS) in Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik and other Serbian politicians, recently visited a centre for air force and air defence personnel at the Batajnica military airfield, per Anadolu.
During this visit, Vucic clarified that Serbia is not a threat to anyone and has no intention of becoming one.
He went on to say that Serbia is well aware of its weaknesses and strengths and has the necessary capabilities to ensure its defence.
In addition, Vucic stated that during his upcoming meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, he plans to discuss the possibility of purchasing the Rafale fighter jet from French manufacturer Dassault. If Serbia is unable to purchase the Rafale, Vucic said they would consider purchasing something similar from another source.
Finally, Vucic emphasized the importance of maintaining strong regional relations and noted that as the only militarily neutral country, Serbia needs to continue ensuring its neutrality and freedom.
