Woman killed, another injured in Russian shelling of Ukraine's Kherson—official
On the morning of November 24, the Russian military shelled the Dnipro District of Kherson. A 61-year-old woman was killed, and another local resident, aged 39, sustained shrapnel injuries to her leg and was taken to hospital.
The information was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on his Facebook page, as well as by local law enforcement authorities, Caliber.Az reports.
According to officials, the shelling was carried out with artillery. Both women were on the street at the time of the attack. A pre-trial investigation has been launched on suspicion of a war crime.
Earlier, Prokudin stated that within a single day, Russian forces had attacked 30 settlements in Kherson Oblast using drones, aircraft, and artillery.
