YouTube available to Apple gadget owners after eight years
An unofficial YouTube client called WatchTube has been released for Apple Watch smartwatches.
The company's first watches were showcased in 2014, however, Google hasn't adapted video hosting to Apple's gadget yet, according to the 9to5Mac website.
There are four sections in the application, namely, "Home", "Search", "Library" and "Settings". Popular video footages are featured on the homepage as on the official YouTube app.
In case of willingness, users can select a specific category of video to display on the home page. Search by video and channels does not differ from the original.
Moreover, users can enter by using the keyboard, as well as by handwriting and voice input.
Users can subscribe to channels and save something in the "Library" in WatchTube.
However, there is no authorisation option under own account in the version for smart watches.
An unofficial YouTube client is available for Apple Watch owners with watchOS 6 or later version.
