Zaporizhzhia comes under Russian assault with 785 attacks in 24 hours

Russian forces launched intensive attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past day, killing one person and injuring three others in strikes on the city of Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding district, according to regional military administration head Ivan Fedorov.

Fedorov said that a total of 785 attacks were carried out across 30 settlements in the region within 24 hours.

The strikes included 14 air raids, 453 drone attacks — most of them involving FPV drones — six strikes using multiple launch rocket systems, and 312 artillery bombardments.

In addition to casualties, local authorities recorded 51 reports of damage to homes and infrastructure facilities as a result of the shelling.
