Zelenskyy says Ukraine ready to help Baltic states as it did in Middle East
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine will continue responding to any strikes by Russia and is ready to assist its Baltic partners in addressing security challenges.
He said Ukraine would continue to “use its legitimate long-range capabilities” in response to Russian attacks, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
He noted that the presence of Ukrainian drones in the airspace of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia is linked to the operation of Russian electronic warfare systems.
According to him, Ukraine is already working with the governments of these countries to address the issue.
“We already have experience working with countries in the Middle East… and these are quite fast and strong solutions. We did it in the Middle East, and it worked. Now we are ready to do the same with our close partners in Europe,” he emphasised.
Zelenskyy made it clear that Ukraine can act thanks to a fast-track procedure called the Drone Deal.
“It is not only about buying or selling something. It is about important matters, even the ones we are discussing now. So we are ready at any moment to send our expert teams. We are already doing this and will continue with our close partners,” he added.
