Zelenskyy says Ukraine's long-range weapons enter new stage
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine is entering a new stage in the use of long-range weapons aimed at limiting Russia’s war potential, following what he described as a report on recent operations.
In a post on X, Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s Security Service had carried out precise operations and praised the effectiveness of the strikes, Caliber.Az reports.
A report by Major General Yevhenii Khmara on our long-range sanctions – a new stage in the use of Ukrainian weapons to limit the potential of Russia’s war. I am grateful to the guys from the Security Service of Ukraine for their precision.

He said the “straight-line distance is over 1,500 kilometers” and added that Ukraine would continue to expand the range of its capabilities. He described the actions as “entirely justified Ukrainian responses to Russian terror.”
Zelenskyy stated that the objective of such strikes is to reduce Russia’s military-industrial capacity, logistics networks, and oil export capabilities.
“The results are obvious to everyone. It is also obvious to everyone that Russia must end its war. It is time to move to diplomacy, and this is a signal that Moscow should hear. Glory to Ukraine!” he wrote.
