Zelenskyy says Ukraine will intensify long-range strikes on Russia
Ukraine intends to intensify long-range strikes on Russian territory in response to ongoing Russian attacks, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated.
In an interview with TSN television, he said Ukraine will “daily increase” its retaliatory measures, Caliber.Az reports.
According to him, anger and emotions are completely understandable; however, “actions must follow anger. They must feel it.”
He noted that Russian society has not yet fully felt the consequences of the war launched by the Kremlin.
Zelenskyy said Ukraine has already begun increasing strikes on targets supporting Russia’s military infrastructure.
“We are at a stage where our defence industry, armed forces and production capabilities have begun to bring the war back. This will continue. They strike us every day, and we will respond every day. These responses will certainly become more powerful,” Zelensky added.
The president further stressed that Ukraine has developed new drones capable of flying more than 3,000 kilometres.
“These are new and effective drones. We will go even further. We know where all their military facilities, factories, oil depots and gas storage facilities are. We must have the ability to hit targets at even greater range, and we will do it,” he added.
