Zelenskyy: Ukraine plans to resolve conflict with Russia in 2025
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine aims to ensure its security and resolve the conflict with Russia by 2025.
"Our goal is to get security guarantees this year and to end the war this year. We will do our best to achieve this," Zelenskyy stated, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
He also emphasised that the US must exert pressure on Russia to ensure the security of Ukraine and Europe.
Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh stated that the US will not dictate the terms of conflict resolution, leaving President Zelenskyy with the authority to decide on peace negotiations.
Meanwhile, future US Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg emphasised that Donald Trump could potentially resolve the conflict in the near future through negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
