Zelenskyy: Ukrainian drones struck targets deep inside Russia VIDEO
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Ukrainian forces carried out long-range drone strikes deep inside Russian territory, targeting military and energy infrastructure, and reiterated his call for an end to the war.
In a post on X, Zelenskyy said Ukrainian drones reached the St. Petersburg region, striking naval-related facilities in Kronstadt, as well as targets in Russia’s Krasnodar region, Caliber.Az reports.
“It is time to end this war. But Russia’s ruler wants to keep fighting,” Zelenskyy wrote.
He added that Ukrainian forces had conducted sanctions in response to the ongoing conflict.
“Last night, our drones covered a distance of about 1,000 kilometers to the St. Petersburg region – to the enemy navy’s arsenals and a base in Kronstadt. Our long-range sanctions also reached about 500 kilometers into the Krasnodar region – and hit an oil depot,” he said.

Zelenskyy credited Ukraine’s military and security agencies for the operations, saying they involved personnel from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
“These are important results of the joint efforts by warriors from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine,” he wrote.
“Russia must end its war and stop its attacks on life. Any manifestation of injustice against Ukraine will receive a just response. I thank our warriors for their precision,” Zelenskyy added.
