Zelenskyy: Ukrainian forces hit Russian oil refinery, military airfield
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces had carried out a series of strikes against Russian military and energy targets, including an oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region and a military airfield in Rostov.
In a statement posted on X, Zelenskyy said the operation targeting the Yaroslavl oil refinery was conducted jointly by Ukraine’s Security Service, Unmanned Systems Forces, Defence Intelligence and Foreign Intelligence Service, Caliber.Az reports.

He also said the Security Service had carried out a strike on a military airfield in the Rostov region, claiming that an An-12 transport aircraft, two An-26 aircraft and three helicopters were damaged.
Zelenskyy further reported what he described as successful operations in the Black Sea, without providing additional details.
“Every day, we respond to aggression. Russia must choose peace,” he wrote.
