Russia has lost over 125,000 troops, Kyiv says
About 800 Russian soldiers have been killed over the past day by the Ukrainian forces.
Russia has already lost 125,510 servicemen since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, RBC-Ukraine reports citing the message of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed a plane and a helicopter of the Russian Armed Forces.
Russia's combat casualties as of January 28, 2023, are as follows:
• personnel – 125,510 people (+800),
• tanks – 3,189 (+7),
• armoured combat vehicles – 6,344 (+4),
• artillery systems – 2,188 (+8),
• multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) – 453 (+1),
• air defence systems – 221,
• aircraft – 293,
• helicopters – 284 (+1),
• tactical UAV– 1,947 (+6),
• cruise missiles – 796,
• ships/boats – 18,
• military cars and fuel tanks – 5,027 (+26),
• special equipment – 199.
