Ilham Aliyev awards those preventing terrorist attack on Azerbaijani embassy in Iran

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order "On awarding persons participating in prevention of terrorist act committed against the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran".

Caliber.Az reports citing the official website of the President of Azerbaijan that under the decree, the following persons were awarded for displaying outstanding bravery in the performance of official duty in conditions of threat to life and health in preventing a terrorist act committed on January 27, 2023, at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran:

Order "Rashadat" of 1st degree:

Taghiyev Vasif Natig oglu

Medal "For Motherland":

Asgarov Orkhan Rizvan oglu (posthumously)

Imanov Mahir Kamil oglu.
