Sports minister expresses confidence in continuation of work to increase number of clubs

Recently, the number of clubs has increased. I believe that the work in this direction will continue.

According to Report, Youth and Sports Minister Farid Gayibov made the statement while speaking at the AFFA Reporting Conference.

"Sport in our country is a state policy. We all know President Ilham Aliyev's love for sports and football. The former AFFA general secretary is already working for FIFA. It's a great achievement. I want our representatives to hold high positions. Congratulations to the Qarabağ FK. We play as strong European clubs. We are close to AFFA. Recently, the number of clubs has increased. I believe that work in this direction will continue. We have to work together on the facilities and resources. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to FIFA and UEFA".
