Miami gears up for thrilling sixth round of Formula 1 World Championship
The 2025 Formula 1 season continues to heat up as the championship's sixth stage — the highly anticipated Miami Grand Prix — roars into action from May 2 to May 4 at the Miami International Autodrome.
The sun-drenched Florida circuit will host a 57-lap race, with each lap covering 5,412 meters of high-speed, technical track, Caliber.Az reports.
Racing fans can look forward to Sprint Qualifying on May 2 at 22:00, while the main event takes place on Sunday, May 4, at 22:00.
So far this season, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri has emerged as a breakout star. The young Australian driver has clinched three victories in the first five Grand Prix events, catapulting him to the top of the drivers’ standings with 99 points.
Piastri’s momentum has given McLaren a strong lead, bolstered by teammate Lando Norris, who has also secured a win and now holds second place with 89 points. Defending champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull, who managed just one win this season, follows closely with 87 points.

Mercedes holds second place with 111 points, while Red Bull follows in third with 89 points, including one win and two poles. Ferrari and Williams round out the top five.
