Lionel Messi arrives in Argentina’s Rosario for father’s farewell ceremony

Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has traveled from the United States to Rosario, Argentina, for a farewell ceremony for his father, Jorge Messi.

The national team captain arrived in his hometown of Rosario aboard a private jet from the United States, accompanied by his partner, Antonela Roccuzzo, and their children, most of whom were dressed in black, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

Only members of the Messi family and their closest friends are expected to attend the farewell ceremony.

Jorge Messi had been battling an incurable illness in recent months and died on August 8.
