Azerbaijan, EU Council mull involvement of European companies in Karabakh reconstrustion

Azerbaijan and the Council of the European Union have discussed the involvement of European companies in reconstruction work in the liberated territories, Elnur Aliyev, Azerbaijan's deputy economy minister, wrote on Twitter.

"The development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation was discussed at a meeting with the delegation of the working group on Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Council of the European Union. Questions on the implementation of sustainable development goals in Azerbaijan, investments in renewable energy sources, modern 'green transition' technologies, involvement of European companies in restoration works in the territories liberated from occupation, and diversification of the non-oil sector were addressed," Elnur Aliyev wrote, Caliber.Az reports.
