Israeli company to produce 50 types of medical products in Azerbaijan

A meeting was held at the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Divisions of Azerbaijan (TABIB) with the leadership of BioPharmax, one of the leading Israeli companies producing medical products.

The meeting was attended by executive directors of the BioPharmax representative office in Azerbaijan Ramal Shalmiyev, Yossi Tzabari, director of BioPharmax Group Yakov Kobi Shriki and other responsible persons of the company, TABIB told APA.

Noting the close ties between Israel and Azerbaijan in the healthcare sector, TABIB Executive Director Vugar Gurbanov added that successful work is also possible in the areas of improving the knowledge and skills of medical personnel, the healthcare management model, and expanding cooperation in the supply of medicines and medical supplies.

BioPharmax Vice President Yossi Tzabari emphasized that the company is interested in cooperation with TABIB.

It was noted that the construction of the BioPharmax representative office in Azerbaijan continues in the Alat Free Economic Zone. It provides for the production of 50 types of medical products. The production of insulin is planned first of all.
