Parliament Speaker condemns Paris’ biased stance towards Azerbaijan - French media

The French media carry information about the September 28 meeting between Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Sahiba Gafarova and French National Assembly President Yael Brown-Pivet in Dublin, Ireland.

The article on Caucase de France website says that Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker harshly criticised France’s biased position towards Azerbaijan, Trend learnt from the Azerbaijani parliament. The article also adds that the Azerbaijani Speaker condemned this position of France.

“Sahiba Gafarova drew the attention of the French National Assembly president to the fact that France did not condemn the 30-year-long Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani territories and never mentioned the rights of a million Azerbaijanis forced as a result of the occupation policy of Armenia to become refugees and internally displaced persons,” the article notes.
