Clashes break out between Arab tribes and PKK/YPG militants in Syria

Clashes broke out between the US-backed terrorist organization YPG (the Syrian militant wing of the PKK) and Arab tribes in four villages of Deir ez-Zor province in northeastern Syria.

Arab tribesmen carried out raids on the so-called road checkpoints and headquarters of the PKK/YPG terrorists located in the villages of Abu Hardup, Subeihan, Al-Jurzi and Ziban in the eastern part of Deir ez-Zor, Anadolu reports, citing local sources.

It is reported that during clashes between Arab tribes and PKK/YPG terrorists, heavy weapons were used in four villages, and some militants of the terrorist organization were killed.

Arab tribal fighters destroyed one car belonging to PKK/YPG terrorists in the village of Ziban. The clashes stopped in the morning hours.

Since the beginning of the year, clashes between the PKK/YPG terrorist organization and Arab tribes have frequently occurred in the province of Deir ez-Zor.
