Azerbaijani flag hoisted over four liberated villages in Gazakh

    According to Caliber.Az, Major General Sultanov informed Azerbaijani President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev that the Azerbaijani flag had been raised over the liberated villages in the Gazakh district.

    The event was marked by the playing of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

    It is noteworthy that, as a result of delimitation efforts, a 12.7 km long border line was established, ensuring the return of four villages in the Gazakh district to Azerbaijan: Baganis Ayrim, Ashagi Askipara, Kheyrimli, and Gizilgajili (totalling 6.5 km²). These territories are now under the control of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.
